I admit that I spend a lot.An awful lot of that on junk.Well, what most people would think of as being junk.I do have a credit card,as does Will.We have two children in our household. Our monthly income varies as Will only works part time and his hours do fluctuate from month to month.
We aren’t in debt as we don’t live beyond our means.Yes,I do use my credit card but only when my own personal disposable income allows me to.In saying that now our savings are pretty pathetic as to what they were a few years ago.But still debt is a major worry to us.I understand that I need to cut down on buying craft stash etc but I never seem to stick to those resolutions.
One of the many pieces of advice that cleardebt offers is on how to Avoid Bankruptcy .But before the need to resort to such measures they also offer help with a debt management plan.Anyone who has gotten into arrears with a company will understand how pigheaded they can be at times, but ClearDebt will step in and negotate with the creditors which is one less thing to worry about.I decided to take the free two minute test out of curiosity.
Here is the screen shot :

As you can see at the moment we do not have cause for concern, but still the £860 which is ‘left over’ at the end of each month is spent on junk and to be honest if we keep spending at the rate we are ,then yes I believe we could end up in trouble.
In recent times ,there hasn’t a day passed when we hear from the media that yet another business has gone into administration. If they cannot afford to stay afloat in the current climate-can we ?
